The bad translation of the word "christ"

As it is well known, there are rules that the translators from one tongue or language to other tongue or language must observe and respect, and by not respecting those rules, the words are corrupted when they pretend to translate them, and that is what happened with the word "christ" that is born from the bad translation from the greek, because in the greek there exists the greek word Jristos, but the translators latinized it to christus, when the word Jristos had an equivalent in the hebrew, Meshiaj, in english it is Messiah. So when one appreciates and contemplates the true translation as Messiah, one realizes the richness and profoundness of such word, because is a unique word, that corresponds to a unique Title, a Title that speaks of a promise, a purpose, a prophecy, a Title that only corresponds to one person in all history, a unique person who was born approximately 2,000 years ago, while the word "christ" in itself, it says nothing, absolutely nothing, because it is an empty word, because basic and elemental rules were violated, that have to do with translation. And by not having a correct and proper translation the word was strip away from its essence, dignity, purpose, sense and nature, stealing from us a vast and profound knowledge that is necessary to get back.

As an example of such a barbaric act and breaking of rules, we share the following passage: Mathew 2:4 "And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born."

Now we know that the text should have said: "And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where the Messiah should be born."
