The Truth About Christmas

Currently the Western world is run by the Gregorian calendar, because of a pope named Gregory XIII. This calendar came to replace the Julian calendar, made by Julius Ceasar, in times of ancient Rome.

The Gregorian calendar was adopted where the Catholic Church exercised control, influence and power.

To God, the year does not begin in the month of January but in the month of Nisan or Abib (March-April). In the Book of Exodus 12:2 God told Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt: "This month shall be your beginning of months for it shall be the first month of the year."

Two of the pagan festivals celebrated with fervor and deceit are as follows: christmas and the supposed end of the year and beginning of new year (December 31 to January 1). And still are held in one form or another by atheists, polytheists and people of different religions.

With respect to christmas, first of all Jesus the Messiah was not born on the 24th or 25th of December for one or for others, the Scriptures teach that one must remember his death and therefore remains silent as to when "HE" was born and also sheep herders in Judah did not went to herd the sheep in December during winter.

Similarly, nowhere in Scripture appears an order or disposition of the Kingdom of God to celebrate his birthday. None of his disciples celebrated the birth of Jesus and never in the Scriptures was written that someone celebrated Jesus' birth. On the contrary, everyone knows that christmas has different origins and for others in the ancient Roman Empire, which was a Roman festival, where there were banquets, feasts and exchange of gifts among others, it was when they celebrated the birth of the pagan god of the sun, precisely on December 25, and that the Catholic Church incorporated among its festivities, since the pagans would not leave their old festivities and practices and to facilitate their entry and conversion, so that the festival was assimilated within Catholicism and with the passing of the centuries in the Protestant Religion and almost all the world. So, is a celebration of the world but not of God, since God already stipulated which are his Feasts to be celebrated, and are 7, and are called Feasts or Holy Convocations, which appear in the books written by Moses. For example one of them is the Passover and known in the New Covenant as the Holy Supper which is celebrated every year in honor to the Death of the Messiah Jesus and His soon coming.

And those pagan celebrations should not be held under any guise or deception, and this ban is for all those who are Believers of God.
